Before you get wild, you should know that IAC valve codes are often the result of vacuum leaks. The leaks make it look to the computer like the IAC valve is open and it tries to close the valve. That has no effect on the leak so the computer says the IAC valve is bad. IAC valves are not high failure rate items.
