Where is the idle air control valve located on my 98 ford rnger 3.0 2 wheel drive?

i need to clean it out and i can't find it. please help!!Where is the idle air control valve located on my 98 ford rnger 3.0 2 wheel drive?
It is on the top and left side of your engine. Follow the tube that flows from your air cleaner past the Mass Air Flow sensor to the IAC.Where is the idle air control valve located on my 98 ford rnger 3.0 2 wheel drive?
Locate where the throttle cable attaches to the bell crank on the engine. That is where the throttle plate is. Right there, in the aluminum housing will be two Electrical parts attached, with their wire connectors. one is attached to the side in line with the butterfly shaft that goes through that housing. That is the throttle position sensor. The other one will be offset a bit on top or the other side, that is the IAC valve
