Slipstream, where is the Vent door and control valve?

i'm pretty sure both hoses to and from the radiator were warm... if the hose from the thermostat is cold what should I do? because I know the top hose gets very warm... where can I find the vent door and control valve.... we have this mitsubishi, and everything on the inside falls off like the vent covers, and the radio face... seems like they don't snap in, and aren't stuck together very well....Slipstream, where is the Vent door and control valve?
the vent door is located near the heater core......it,s job is to mix fresh air with heated/cooled air according to your demand,s....follow from temperature selector at heater switch to vent door....it,s usually vacuum controled...but sometimes it,s electric...........................your heater control valve is located under the hood ...close to the fire wall ....in one of the heater hoses....it also is usually vacuum controled.......but not all car,s have them..........if the hoses at the thermostat aren't hot enough ..this may be due to external cold temperature....but if their cold you either have an air lock.. or a bad thermostat.
