Where is the idle speed control valve located on a 96mdl toyota corolla xl located?

my car has a 1.3 ltr, 12valve engine and uses a carburetor not fuel injection.Where is the idle speed control valve located on a 96mdl toyota corolla xl located?
well it isnt a valve as such but if you find the accelerator cable going to the carb there are little nuts that tension the cable

with the car running wind them back and forth untill you find the desired revs.Where is the idle speed control valve located on a 96mdl toyota corolla xl located?
why dont you try to figure out the problem rather than covering it up with a higher rate of idle, unless the idle had been slowed down in the first place.
Don't adjust the idle speed with the cable tension as Johnny advises - there's a screw on the base of the carbuerator for this.

Towards the back of the carb there's a thumb screw with a plastic head, about a centimeter in diameter. It's a little hard to get to. Turn it slowly to adjust.
