I've been trying to get this stupid Ford Escort to stop jerking while driving and accidentally broke the idle air control electronic connector (I'm pretty sure- behind the engine on the throttle body intake). I still haven't fixed the jerking, which is pretty severe, and was wondering if I can leave the IAC to be fixed later, while still driving it a small amount.
The car started fine but I haven't run it long term yet. What happens if you leave the idle air control valve electronics broken?
be prepared to buy alot of gas
